Could you please let us know about availability of the economy/discount economy fare classes still available for these flights?

BA34 appears to go from KUL to LHR ... so did you mean KUL or did you mean BA10?

All right, fair enough. Not much I can do about that being a first post. I'm trying to figure out the lowest cost LHR-DXB-LHR trip for my winter holidays.

I mainly care about this return trip along that route:

10 December 2015: BA 0109
07 January 2016: BA 0104

The rest were me trying to figure out what other flights around these days actually had deeply discounted economy fare class seats (O, Q) available. Searching through Skyscanner etc. it looks like BA 0104 has no O-class seats left, just N-class, but I just wanted to confirm that just waiting a bit wouldn't magically cause the prices to drop with seats becoming available at O-class.

It would seem so, yes.

I'm a bit confused about another pair of flights on the same route on the same days. ITA Matrix suggests there are L-class (EK, or Q-class on QF) seats available on these flights but I can't seem to actually be able to get this fare anywhere:

LHR-DXB: 10 December 2015, EK 008 (code-shared as QF 8008)
DXB-LHR: 07 January 2015, EK 003 (code-shared as QF 8003)

Is it that there really are no L-class (EK, or Q-class on QF) seats left and ITA Matrix is just lagging behind, or are these non-bookable for some other reason?

I talked to a travel agent providing the fare basis codes -- apparently at least the Q-class Qantas fares are now sold out -- ITA Matrix must be suffering some lag.

You are correct there are no L Class seats left.

It is also fairly safe to say that for your dates, flights will get busier and busier as they will depart 100%. There is no benefit to waiting as there will be no sale fares on these dates. The cheaper seats will not open up (I can say with 99% certainty), and things will creep upwards.

May or may not be of use, but if your priority is direct, Royal Brunei have £400 ish fares for your dates vs £470ish for BA.
