Oh. I find those seats quite comfy (whilst the blue leather ones are just standard) and almost retro / boutique (though that's partially psychological I guess).

FWIW, LAX has a Flagship Lounge, and MIA just AAdmirals Club so I would choose to spend more time in the former.

Hi carat22. I have added some notes to the list above. I just bought four tickets, A the LGW-JER return, B is the JER-HEL return, C is a one way to AMS from LGW, and D is a one way from AMS to LHR.

I think A was booked in ET but both legs subsequently POUG'ed to CE. B was booked in CE. LGW-AMS was booked in ET and subsequently POUG'ed to CE. No POUG offered AMS-LHR so that is still in ET.

Had my first 738 with the new interior and the touchscreen AVOD the other day - very good. Same AVOD as the AA 77W and 321.

I'm not sure how many of them there are out there though - I've been on a fair few AA 738's in the last 6 months and this was the first one I've seen with the fancy interior.

Thanks.. I was interested in the £/TP.


Need 700 TPs (UK based) to keep my gold for 15th year running (flying less this year) - I am annoyed (quite annoyed actually) about the charge for gold members for avios booking changes so still undecided.

Hi 62aClubWorld. It was 370 TPs as the AMS-LGW leg is in ET - I was hoping for a POUG but it hasn't been offered yet.

I booked the LGW-JER ticket last October, it was supposed to be just a weekend break in Jersey but has changed since then. The JER-HEL return was booked in March this year, and the LGW-AMS and AMS-LHR tickets booked at the end of April when I realised I could fit them in and it sorted my transfer from LGW to LHR.

Costs were as follows

LGW-JER rtn, booked as ET out and CE back for £179, subsequent POUG for outbound in January for £69.
JER-HEL rtn, booked as CE for £395.
LGW-AMS, booked in ET for £65, subsequent POUG in May for £69.
AMS-LHR, booked in ET for £65, no POUG offered yet.

Total cost is £842 for 370 TPs, so it isn't the best in terms of £/TPs, but I can squeeze it all in to one weekend and it gets me the TPs I need.
