OK never sat in one, but it's the same width as all the other B seats in ET isn't it?

It doesn't feel it! It is a very uncomfortable seat.

We now have 16 737s (iirc). The plan is for all of them to be retired by summer 2015

Do BA tend to sell off such planes, or do they go to the great hangar in the sky? Do regulations prohibit the selling of such well used airframes to other commercial operators (like Cayman Airways who have a history of buying old jets, upgrading from the 737-200 with the tiny engines to the -300 variant only a few short years ago).

I don't think the B seat has a headrest, making it possible to collapse.
The B and the E sets are definitely different on convertible planes.

Sorry, I meant in terms of width, which is what I understood Speedbirdjclass to have been referring to by the word "squeezed".
