Thank you for listening.
While it isn't a problem for me any more, the old system was a problem for a lot of people.

Good news to hear about this genuine service enhancement.
I have one further concern. If calling from a UK mobile overseas, do you still need to use the 08 non-geographic number? The reason I ask is that these numbers certainly did not at this time last year work when calling from Qatar and accordingly they might not work in other countries either.

Hi there
If you log into your account and select the "Contact Us" section and change the country to where you are at the time you can find the local telephone number.
If it's closed at the time you want to call both the UK and US telephone numbers have good coverage across time zones.
Warm regards
Nicci

Good proper enhancement but to be fair it should never have been so arcane that it needed to be corrected.

Nicci,
Many thanks for passing that news on to us. If you had a personal hand in the change, which I am sure you did, then multiply the thanks by a very big number!

This should cover 23 hours on weekdays during the summer and 24 hours on weekdays during the winter.
UK: 07:30-20:00 Local +44 191 490 7901
US: 07:30-20:00 Eastern +1 800 452 1201
HK: 09:00-17:30 Local +852 3002 1208 (weekdays only)
Otherwise there's coverage between 07:30 - 01:00 GMT (Adjust for DST when applicable) by using US and UK numbers.

Thanks Evanderm, I was thinking of drawing up something similar to pop in my travel essentials.
Perhaps could do with 'reserve' offices to enable me to guess where my call might end up being taken.
Does this mean UK members get the chance to experience Bremen pre 7:00 UK?
This will be a real boon I think, as long as cross globe service levels can be up to the task.

You still have to call the local numbers so the chart I threw together quickly involves some math to figure out who to call when. I couldn't put much time into it on my lunch break so I invite others to draw up something more elaborate should they so please.
I don't know if it's wiki material.
