What is the fastest way to get 38 Avios to post?

I am trying to book domestic a ticket for AA flights with my Avios. I shopped through BA yesterday (at Home Depot), but that might take a while to post.

You could purchase Avios from BA. Minimum purchase is 1000 Avios.

I think the Avios points post instantly.

It can take several weeks for avios for estore purchases to post. If you need some avios in a hurry, buying some through ba.com would give you the fastest delivery.

Thanks for letting me know that it can take several weeks for my purchase to credit as Avios. It's $53 to purchase 1000 Avios! That's not a good deal considering this is a one-way domestic ticket (and we have a low budget). I'll have to look at other options. I am also waiting on 2000 bonus miles from AA which would give me a second option to book this ticket. But that will likely take a while too. We no longer have Premier Rewards (closed 6 months ago with 440 pts left?) and we no longer have Sapphire Preferred, but we have regular Chase Sapphire which would have less than 500 pts (so not an option?)

I just realized that creating a Household Account may be a good option. Once household acct is set-up, do the miles pool instantly, or 24 hours, or?

Be aware you can then only book tickets for HHA members.
