They've just been re-awarded the PSO contract to fly STN-LDY. *facepalm*

Just reported by BBC that FlyBMI has gone into administration.

Official announcement outlining the situation has replaced the homepage on the FlyBMI website: https://www.flybmi.com/en

Seems their website isn’t responding well. Content was exactly as posted by JimEddie above...

This is the BA/BAEC board. I think you meant to post this in the Other European Airlines board?

There already seems to be a thread running on there Flybmi into administration -all flights cancelled

Thanks to the OP for posiring this here. As flybmi was the leftover from BMI, and as the BMI forum got merged into this one, I actually think this is relevant.

Especially as there are no LHR or LGW slots involved

That's true, but that's a real link to the past for me that has now gone. It's a real shame and there's going to be nothing left in a very few years. I think they are all at risk: Flybe, Air Dolomiti, maybe even SUN-AIR (because this latter are flying those graveyard routes in Germany that Intersky and VLM flew). Possibly CityJet made a crafty move by just becoming whatever it is now, a leasing airline with no marketed flights of its own.
