Search? This must be one of the most common questions and the answer is still NO.

Sorry, OP. You don't, and whilst that's not any reason for a rather rude comment from the previous poster, you really should explore the BA Dashboard at the top of the Forum home page.

Full redemption earns nothing ... You are spending your capital.
Cabin upgrades using Avios earn TPs and Avios for the cabin you purchased.

Do go and read the Dashboard. And ignore rude people.

No sadly you don't. But as the previous poster said, you get them for miles for upgrades trips which is one reason some members really like these.

The BA guide on here really is wonderful. I have learnt so much from it.

Nah, just having a bad day with hotel upgrades not going the way I want them and TPs not posting. That puts me in a sour mood and I get annoyed when people ask simple questions without even attempting to find the answer themselves.

But come tomorrow and TPs will post and I will finally be Gold and happy...

Friendly hug, and read the dashboard. With that sort of Avios balance and a 241, you really need to get clued up. And that's meant very kindly. RTFM, buddy

If failed hotel upgrades and TP failures leaves you in a 'sour mood', let's hope you don't have a real crisis!

So be nice, eh? You could give Gold a bad name. We are here to be supportive, aren't we?

Sorry about the hotel upgrade, and you surely know that the TPs will post eventually.

It's a "Community", even if it is on the Internet.

Back in the olden days when there was Air Miles and BA Miles some Air Miles redemptions booked into a revenue bucket and got TPs and miles. Sadly those days have passed.
