Grrrrr.... [over-entitled] Silvers
Just boarded my return flight from one of those lovely outstations that don't do priority boarding. Group of Silvers rushes to the front of the queue, pushing in front of a family, waving their boarding passes.
Seriously... If only those every-now-and-then-fliers could just show a little more manners and dignity. Can't they feel bad karma oozing all over from stuff like this?

Some people regardless of status are just oiks.
Last week flying into LBA I was on the front row with my daughter and 2 people were on the other side. As we stood waiting to get off some rude man just pushed past everyone to the front and then stood next to me blocking me standing. I almost said something but bit my tongue. We waited about 3 mins to get off after he pushed past and so there was no advantage - he was just ignorant.
The plane was almost empty so there was no wait for anyone.

Baffled as to what the colour of their status cards has to do with it.

however you travel you will find ignorant and inconsiderate people
pet hates on a flight--- the one who must be first on and first off the aircraft
train----the one who conducts a loud mobile phone call that the whole
carriage can hear
I just love the fact that the majority of flights are phone call free---long may it last

From personal observation a disproportionate amount of BP waving DYKWIA behaviour comes from Silver card holders. The possession of one seems to blind them from the reality of anyone else who has access to the same perks.

I can only apologise on behalf of the Silver Community.
It is a broad spectrum of society, and includes doddering old couples and thrusting young executives … and indeed humble functionaries who are sent by their employers to fly a lot.
I defer to swanhunter on the behaviour of Golds … I have always known my place.
How soon will this Thread devolve into racism and social distinctions, I wonder?

One might note the bleatings and whinings of GOLD pax, who expect the World to move for them, of course.
