And here is my input, representing those in steerage!

At least we know, for those wishing to join the mile high club, which toilet will be the most suitable

Even though I've flown on the A380 before, I'm still always amazed at how quiet it is, even right by the engines... Thanks for the report!

As you were taxiing past T3/T2 and the other 380's I was about 100 yards away from you on the transit bus from T3-T1 and just behind those aircraft and was surprised to see your aircraft taxiing past, and was half asleep having just safely landed from ADD on an ET 787

If I had been more alert this is the photo I would have taken:

I'm intrigued too, as to why F was covered up 'to surprise those going to LAX' as we've seen the pictures - from one direction anyway. Is there going to be a surprise? Really?

Great work everyone - shame I couldn't join you, but glad you had a great time. Surprised not to see any champagne featuring yet.

Got a mini tour of F , there's no major changes, the seat enclosures are about 6 inches higher giving a more private feel, there's still electric blinds at the window albeit without blue lights, and the seats seem bigger and have more space. No bad seats in F, even the middle pairs seem inviting. Row one seems to be the most private.

Agree.
No way to compare A380 to any other aircraft for the comfort inflight.

I've posted a piece on the blog which also includes my first 'go' at a video:

I don't think Messrs Tarantino or Spielberg have much to worry about with me just yet, and I must apologise to Schwann again for initially mis-posting this on his TR thread!

I'll add more text around this later but for now, here are the pics for my portion of the trip report, complete from arriving the night before, the T5 Sofitel, the 902 outbound to FRA trip, the return 903 and anything I thought may be of interest (especially seat space in CW on both decks). Enjoy for now!

Useful photos of the CW seats. The lack of extra legroom options is very disappointing - it looks worse than the dorm 777. Good as a shareholder as it means a more efficient plane but sad as a passenger.

Oh no! We were wondering if we should change from 50A&B as close to the loo and fewer windows. We'd kept them until now as they looked private and away from the rest of the cabin, you've made me think again!
