BA EMB 170 at JFK?

Sorry for the dumb question...but since this is my first posting in the BA forum, we'll blame it on that! HA

I was at JFK Sunday at the DL SkyDeck and swear I saw what looked like a BA Embraer 170 that had just arrived! Where did this thing come from?? And for the record I was only on my first drink, and yes I know my planes

I suspect it was an Airbus A318 out of LCY via SNN

It is either BA1 or BA3, an Airbus A318 which flies LCY-JFK in all business class configuration.

Could it of been an A318 which routes LCY-SNN-JFK ?

Did it look a bit like this? In which case the posts above are correct - an A318, not an Embraer

OP Here...I'm pretty sure I would bet my kids on it (if I had any) that it was NOT an A318. I wish I had snapped a picture. It had a completely red nosecap as well. Something I've never seen on a BA aircraft.

G-EUNB, which is an Airbus A318.

The E170 and A318 look quite similar and are a similar size.

BA1 operated by an E170. No compensation was due as the curtain was moved to row 12 and EU compensation does not apply for the Iceland-US segment.

Now stop moaning everyone and back to work!

I was on the BA4 from JFK to LCY yesterday, and it had a completely red nose - I can't upload the photo at the moment but there is one here - all for the Comic Relief (aka "Red Nose Day") charity which BA now partners with.

BA EMB 170 at JFK?

I always find the A318 an easy spot due to the rather out of proportion vertical stabiliser.

Haha I stand corrected and highly disappointed with myself. However I'm not as disappointed as someone sitting in an A318 across the pond
