Happy Friday, as we [the neighbours and I] have managed to persuade the politicians on the Planning Committee unanimously to reject plans for a large development right by our homes ... which had been recommended for approval by the civil servants in Planning Department!

Curious you should say that!! Apparently it WAS once an Hotel, then a Retirement Home, then Apartments. Now it's intended to become "Lifelong Homes", designed with straight staircases [for chair lifts] and disabled-sized loos.

Not far to move, eh?
One of the Committee noted that the 'disabled loos' weren't quite big enough, as per specifications.
Agent replied "Yes, we had to reduce the size slightly".
Committee Member: "Yes, to be able to cram more homes into the space available."

Happy Friday folks!
Well, a happy Friday and I have my first AA long haul flight soon (ish) just for a complete change and for the pure sake of it. Uncle T might be glad to hear than and read about AA in my post

Flight details and location on this one are not for disclosure for certain reasons. Uncle T has already tried to find out, he's a nosey b*gger as well
