I was going to say thank Goodness its Friday so that I can go to the beach but I think it is going to rain. However ILM beats living in London anyway so not complaining at all!!! ...well, apart from the North Carolina humidity!!

I had a long day. I've been up except for short dozing off since yesterday morning (it's night-time where I am), and now I am too awake to sleep! But I am still thankful that it's Friday, because I can sleep in tomorrow

I have a rare day off (well in the summer....winter is a lot of days off !)....spent this morining walking 'laps' of Tooting Common, watching the planes climb overhead instead of final approach today.
Now watching Djokovic/Del Potro on the box, looking forward to a barbecue with all our neighbours on Sunday....bob on ^

TGIF and a lovely sunny one at that, thank goodness
Bit of a musical weekend beckons - open air screening of Les Mis in the park tonight, Cats (the musical) tomorrow night and Ipswich Music Day (the biggest one-day free music event in the country) on Sunday.

In the garden watching Wimbledon. Small glass of wine. Bought children 20 foot pool for garden 4 years ago that has never been out of the box as it has rained ever since! They are now 18 and 14 and dont seem keen! Labrador is watching assembly process with interest.
Looking forward to a week of walking everywhere as the show is in town and gridlock arrives

Sitting in the garden with a glass of Lions Tooth and shall get steadily more drunk as the evening goes on! Off to Centre Court tomorrow as Mrs. S loves tennis - I shall be the one sitting, reading my kindle!!
