BA0282 - 21st Oct LAX to LHR - A380 or 747?

Looking at flight options from the west coast of the USA and can get the A380 outbound.
When I look at direct return options, BA0282 comes up as an A380 and then 2 secs later changed to a 747. Didn't know it could change like this so which plane is it?

Are you just seeing the delay where the aircraft type of the new flight you ave selected overwrites the cached aircraft type which was used the last time you opened that window or used that function?

A timetable search will confirm the aircraft type

Well, the website is rather sluggish at present so going to try and click directly to see what comes up.
Added: Seems to be related to that as A380 sticking now.

Being offered Ł380 to upgrade both ways from WT to WT+ so that sounds like the A380 offer.

Added: Looking at some google bits, the A380 seems to operate with a different flight number on different days. True?

Definitely A380s

Rather a lot of seats with all the exit rows blocked or taken. Nothing for the upper deck but no idea what is up there.
Will probably upgrade to WT+ as fairly cheap but will check on CW first.

Is there likely to be any A380 flights to LAX prior to the 15th October, or will all flying before then be on the Frankfurt route?
