If it does, it's a silly one.

Oh hang on, we've had that one, how about "no, it's a load of balls"?

Confusing foreigners who haven't got the slightest clue about cricket (except that it's excrutiatingly boring - takes a century for a game to finish)

I heard it was his maiden flight with BA. Lucky he didn't get himself out, but was caught in time.

To be fair this thread is a test now. I assume he had too much tea and a bowler rum too many.

(I shall get my (white) coat now).

If you get too deep and backwards you will end up as the Third Man (cue Harry Lime theme).

I bet those passengers in the aisle were worried whether the door was going to open or not.
They were in the corridor of uncertainty.

As the person who started this magnificent pun-run (copyright acknowledged if you're out there, Andy Zaltzman) I'd like to call this as the best of the best.

Apparently various crew members have been telling this story to one another and the truth has morphed as time has gone on. But then that's Gulley-FM for you...

This thread really does have people running for cover.

I take it this was quite a time consuming sector he was on. A long leg if you will.
