Same plane turnaround at IST?
 

Hi All - have searched for some recent info, but can't seem to find anything within the last few months or so. I have found myself with two BA/AA TATL tickets that end/start in IST, so would prefer to burn as little time as possible getting there and back.

Does anyone have any recent experience transiting international-to-international at IST? I figure that security check will be required, but I guess it would be dependent on arrival time as to how busy it is. I'm looking at a BA676/677 rotation arriving at 1620 and departing at 1735.

Does it sound possible? It'd be Club both ways, if it makes a difference!

Yes, very possible - just follow the Transfers signs. You will go through security again - I would encourage you to make sure you have your BP for the return flight.

Be aware that sometimes IST uses a remote stand, which could prolong things, but still do-able.

Thanks! I think I read somewhere that IST security won't allow mobile boarding pass, so will be sure to print...

I wouldn't normally worry at all, but have a train to Paris to catch at 0730 the morning after, so if I miss this flight back, the other half will skin me alive. Literally. :eek:

I've used a mobile (iPhone) BP several times at IST with no problem.

Mobile BP has been fine at IST for at least 18 months.
