Will the seats on G-LCAA be different to the current E170/E190s then?

That is very interesting to note. Done with routine maintenance check as it took much longer than the normal. Also first A320/321 to not be done at Prestwick. Interesting to see if others go there for a refit to speed up the rate? Will update the WIKI now.

As this is supposed to be a new / retiring aircraft thread it wouldn't upset me if the duplicated info on this one was deleted and maybe just a link to the other thread put in instead. I haven't seen a similar A320 thread but, if there is one, the same can happen for that as far as I'm concerned.
I have attached a link in the Wiki to that thread for 777 refits. I was thinking maybe a list of the completed ones may be beneficial to just have here so all in one place, but agree the detailed information is mostly unnecessary. I have also corrected the numbers and moved G-YMMC to the 3 class and not 4 class as that had been updated incorrectly by somebody. I will have a go at re formatting to get rid of all the unnecessary duplicated information, but if everyone wants it back then happy for someone to revert my changes.

There is no current refit thread for the A320s so have left that information in for now.

EDIT: I have summarised the 777 refit so hopefully that looks better. Link to other detailed thread attached. Let me know what you think or any ideas you (or anyone else) have?

Airbus don't confirm deliveries until 30 days before. So for a mid to late July delivery, BA won't know until mid to late June. BUT, then BA has to do its prep and work out what its doing and then swap the flights. in the schedule. Could be very last minute although I wouldn't imagine before July sometime. Then they should operate from mid August maybe to mid to late September before the two routes start on October 1st and 8th respectively. They will have 2 A350s by then so it's anyone's guess when or how many flights. Rumoured at BA460/461 or someone has said the first daily flight BA456/457? Basically it's a wait and see currently.

They will be the same type of seats as the current E-jets, with dark grey leather replacing China Southern's blue and pink cloth.

Does anybody know if IVG is in for a c or d check? It has been in service for over a week - and as we all know BA retirement plans (nov 19 for IVG) are subject to change

I don't understand what this has to do with aircraft arrivals or aircraft retirements? There are other threads discussing the aircraft changes on these routes.
