On a recent visit I was surprised not to be able to have a bacon roll and also how easy it is to access the F lounge, but I behaved myself, I just took a look and left the bacon rolls to those with status.

Maybe I'll just go in there (legitimately of course), order 4 bacon rolls and take them back to the family in GC. Or, more likely, I'll just say sod it and go to Cafe Rouge for my usual helping of Oeufs Benedicte...

The more I compare BAs LGW/LHR offerings (excluding T1 domestic, which is a bit of an outlier), the more I think that they are just saying "sod you" to the bucket and spaders.

And ironically, when I'm travelling on business, all I generally want for breakfast is a quick bowl of porridge. But when I'm on holiday, I want something far more artery clogging to get me started!

I haven't been to Surrey International yet, but will visit for a run to MLA soon. Does the GC offering include some warm gloop at lunch time or is it just sarnies?

The Terraces lounge at LGW has soup, but not much else. IIRC they did have baked potatoes and beans at one point.

I'll do a Genius1 and point out that LGW is wholly in West Sussex. Otherwise its porridge until lunchtime and soup thereafter in terms of hot food. There aren't any real kitchens for the LGW lounges, so that greatly restricts the options.

Ops, I knew it was something with S. Lol. Thanks, I'll visit Yo Sushi then before I move on to the lounge.

Whilst we're on the subject of correcting things, the LGW business class lounge is still branded as a Terraces lounge, so the title of this thread is incorrect...
