This thread gives the current catering options (2013, 2014, & 2015) for the Galleries Club (GC) lounges in LHR, of which there are three in Terminal 5 (T5A North & South, and T5B). This lounge is open to passengers flying oneworld on a business class ticket, BAEC Silver and oneworld Sapphire card holders. The catering supplier was changed on 2 May 2013 to BaxterStorey.

The current catering options in the GC lounges can be found in the first post in the thread, or you can click here.

I think you're right. When I emailed my complaints about the Club food, I got a reply saying food consumption has gone up in the Club lounges, so it is assumed that people like what is on offer.

Aaaargh. Food consumption has gone up because the lounges are busier. It's certainly not to do with the quality of the food....

To borrow from another thread title, is there no end to BA's (public relations department's) knavery ?!

They are different - Singaporean is some kind of curry-Chinese meal fusion and Portuguese is 'standard' curry sauce. Plentiful of chicken in both cases.

And they had both at the same time last month (one in GF, the other in GC), so I guess it just depends on what they decide to bring out at that moment.

I wonder if one could tell the difference in a blind tasting ?

So I read that the offers will be similar in comparison to GF for GCs. So will I be able to eat the GF hot food in GC? (Talking about self service bar)

GF has a totally different menu and on different floors with different kitchens. You could take the GF food up to GC, I suppose, but there are signs in both lounges inviting passengers to consume their food and drink within the lounge. So it's not a good idea and probably unworkable.

Back again and salmon fishcakes on the menu. Not too bad - taste like smoked salmon mixed in with whatever the creamy centre is.

Ordered my first burger and it's not that bad- had worse, had better. My 7 chips seem fine.

I think this should belong in the Galleries First thread?

Having visited GF after check-in, I got to stop off at GC T5B on the way to an A380 flight a couple of weeks ago - more to get around the ~60 minute wait I was quoted for a shower at T5 South.

(I was welcomed with bounding enthusiasm, shown straight to the shower room that didn't sound like a hippo with a sinus problem, and offered any Elemis treatment of my choice that I sadly didn't have time for, but that's another story...)

One thing I noticed was that there were no sandwiches on offer in T5B, just the hot buffet, it being around 1pm.

I didn't actually ask if they had any hidden away, I just thought it odd there weren't any sandwiches out on display - as they more usually are in GC T5N.

Or have sandwiches in T5B been enhanced?

Appreciate the info on here and thanks to everyone keeping it up to date.

I've ordered a gluten free meal for my daughter for the flight.

Does anyone know if there any gluten free cereals on offer or gluten free bread served in the Galleries lounges at T5?

A 4 year old is going to struggle to wait util 9.30 for their breakfast on board after being up before 6 and I don't want to have to bring our own for her if we dont have to.

Thanks
