This thread gives the current catering options (2013, 2014, & 2015) for the Galleries Club (GC) lounges in LHR, of which there are three in Terminal 5 (T5A North & South, and T5B). This lounge is open to passengers flying oneworld on a business class ticket, BAEC Silver and oneworld Sapphire card holders. The catering supplier was changed on 2 May 2013 to BaxterStorey.

The current catering options in the GC lounges can be found in the first post in the thread, or you can click here.

A couple of questions: 1) where might I find the quiche, as Iíve not spotted it on my walkabouts; and 2) Iím a little surprised there is no cheese earlier in the day, as I think I saw some at NCL this morning. Is this really the case?
There are (processed?) cheese slices at breakfast.
Something like Brie and Coastal Cheddar later on though I suppose you could ask at anytime.

They don't always have everything. Sometimes there's gluten free cake in the afternoon, others times none.
No harm in looking at GC as sometimes they have the odd different item.

Quiche could be in the area next to the hot food or in the salad / Tapas type area in the side.

The quiche may not be on a current rotation, but if it is it would be on the long trays near to the salad bowls. Cheese - can't explain, but NCL and the Domestic lounges have a different meal arrangement, so they don't get salads but they do get cheese throughout the day. Should have brought your tupperware with you.

Thank you both, that explains it. Was more out of curiosity than requiring cheese (or quiche), as everything else was fairly obvious.

The only slight disappointment - though probably a good thing for my waistline - is the absence of ice cream. Iíve not read the whole thread but assume this was enhanced away at some point? I donít see any freezers anywhere near any of the coffee areas

Yes, I'm afraid the ice cream is a movable feast, and one that is not to be had at the moment. But I'm glad you are ok with the selection there now, hot food will come along later this evening.

I have never seen any ice cream at LHR, although have asked for a bowl of chocolate and / or vanilla in both GF and the CCR.

Thanks everyone. I had some hot food before it was cleared away, and finished with lemon drizzle cake as they have recently put out the afternoon menu. This also happens to be gluten free, for those whose diets require this. No need to request a GF special, if you like lemon cake.

I certainly hope Iím not here by the time the hot food returns later today, as my gate has just been called...

Assuming you are in GF, then I have only ever seen the ice cream on display in the small freezers there in the summer months. in the winter the small freezers have usually disappeared. I suspect it is season, and depending who wants to use the opportunity to promote their product to the BA client base.

I have also seen ice cream on the "call" menu, but no idea if it is on there now or not.

I have never seen ice cream in GC

Ah, I see, thanks for that information scottishpoet. I was in Galleries Club, but (somewhere upthread, I think) saw a photo of Green & Blacks vanilla and chocolate tubs so decided to forage.

It was Hšagen-Dazs at one point, in a small freezer to to the left of the coffee machines adjacent to the cinema.

Yes, before they disposed of it in GC for good Haagen-Dazs was indeed the last brand (and actually most popular I believe) used.

I believe this is permanently in place at both LHR and LGW so next time the first page is updated/refreshed the hot rolls section should be extended to 1100.

There was, the freezer was next to the big screen TV. The ice cream was enhanced away approximately summer 2014.
