Earning Avios on Domestic LAN flight

Hi everyone,

I will be traveling from AEP-IGR in April, and I went to the Executive Club website and in the Miles calculator section I checked my booking class (L class Flexible) and it stated that I will earn 628 avios. However, when I went to the "collecting Avios with partner" page, it was saying that I will earn 0 avios for domestic Argentina flights in L class.

I am not sure which one is right, can some one please confirm with me?

Jack

LAN domestic class fares - even some pretty expensive ones - don't always earn Avios or tier points so you have to watch which booking class you book. Pretty poor if you ask me.

I flew 7 LAN segments in L class in January (cross-border in SAmerica) and these only earned 25%, in line with what the Our oneworld airline partners page says. Can one assume the mileage calculator is broken?

Although LAN sells L domestic tickets as fully flexible BA only recognise Y, B, H LAN economy fares as being flexible.
So it looks as if the OP is entering his L fare class ticket as a flexible one in the calculator rather than "economy lowest" which returns 0.

Thanks everyone for answering my question. I will just change my FFP to air Berlin when I check in and earn 100% miles.
