Wi-fi code at Terminal 5 in Heathrow

Could someone post up the wifi code for the BA lounge in terminal 5 of Heathrow? Will be stuck there for several hours and b/c I cannot buy access to the lounge, I would be greatly appreciative if someone posted up the wi fi code.

Maybe we can start this and update it every month or so by whoever is friendly.

Thanks!

Maybe we should have a 'phone meet-up' thread, where people give out the password to their phone's 'wifi hotspot' and other members who are in the airport log on and use all their bandwidth downloading movies

OP - it's always a city BA flies to. Work through them and you will get there

I really hope someone doesn't post it - to protect the bandwith/speed for those who are actually entitled to it I think your request taking the michael in all honesty.

Put your hand in your pocket and pay for it, like everyone else who is not entitled to the free BA wifi.

As kirky implied, you can buy access to the lounge...by upgrading your flight.

Sorry no. Since you do not have access to the lounge you have no right to use the wifi as it is for lounge guests only.

If someone posts it here I hope that the post is taken down swiftly.

It is not changed that often, but what I have noticed is that for a few weeks after the change the speed is fairly good. As time progresses the speed goes downhill, and I can think of 2 factors: it being used by those not entitled to it, and automatic login by those who have saved it on their iToys, irrespective of whether they actually need it. I hope no one posts or PMs the password, it is irresponsible.

Maybe I can leave you a glass of champagne and a roll from the servery outside the lounge too if you'd like?

BA should fire some of their network capacity management team - clearly FT members are good enough at defending that precious capacity...

At some BA lounges, the password hasn't changed for ages!

3rd party lounges are even worse - I hate to think how many people are connected to the wifi in lounges at MAN at any one time.

I like the system as it is, with a relatively simple and infrequently changing password. It would be a shame if BA were forced to go down the one-time voucher route, with complex WEP passwords, if they found the current system was being abused.
