Yup, base Avios have suddenly started posting before the 40 days, which didn't used to be the case.

Do they charge for cash back and is it at the same rate?

Does using Amex Plat attract any additional fees? About to cancel it, and need to spend about £250 to 'level off' my MR to be transferred out.

Unless you've a very high credit and cash limit you'll need to make multiple transactions. Probably best to one for the bonus and the rest for the better rate. Also, if you go the delivery route make sure you order at least £500 to avoid the delivery fee.

perfect, i will look again but thinking on it i think the cash limit is £900 as have just got the card, no harm in multiple spending

I've ordered £600 of EUR but it won't accept my debit card - I've called my bank and they can't even see the request for authorisation on their system....

Also tried to use my Amex Gold card but no luck there either...!

Nope, they seem to be broken when it comes to confirming payment, eventually times out with an internal server error page. Now if I try to add £750 worth of $ it tells me I can't arrange delivery because my order is below their minimum of £150, or above their maximum of £2,500

Got mine (in avios.com) today as well. So you can clearly get the bonus in avios.com even if you have already bought via ACE with BAEC.

Q: How many days between transaction and bonus being credited?

I picked up 2x £310 of € last week (1x BAEC, 1x Avios.com)...
