Valentine's Day...are you taking your loved one away?

I notice BA are telling us to say it with flights instead of flowers this February 14th. Are you planning a surprise getaway with the love in your life?

I'm not.

I'll be too jet lagged to travel anywhere else!

Valentine's Day...are you taking your loved one away?

If I did, I would only need one ticket

I might be, although it wouldn't be possible on or around Valentine's Day for us.

A few days in Washington, D.C. would be nice (we've never been), plus it will get both me and Mrs MAN-FF back up to Silver where we usually are!

Afraid not - I was going to transfer some Amex MR's to Avios and book us a weekend in Paris, but i spent the points on a the Dyson and Le Creuset glitch instead.

I hope she likes them.

We wont be travelling. I expect to be buying a card, flowers and we we will be eating at Chez Walker. I will do the cooking of course, and if Mrs Walker is really unlucky the chef will only be wearing an apron.

Well I spent some of my Yen on a valentines weekend in Rome for myself and Mrs Jetstreamer courtesy of AZ. Also booked on BA to DBV for May for us which is a surprise which I will reveal as a Valentines present. As you can tell we haven't been married long

I once took Mrs Funster to Milan for Valentine's Day. Nothing at all to do with the fact that I wanted to go the footie at the San Siro that night!

I'm looking to go somewhere warm next month to get away from this dreadful cold weather. I wish I lived somewhere with a decent climate

Taking Mrs MBX to Prague on 14th Feb for 3 nights, using an Amex 2-4-1 in CE. Not the best use ever but hey...

Have just booked our 15th anniversary trip for April, and plan to give the tickets as a Valentines present. I know, sounds cheap, but I lack imagination and thinking of two presents is too hard (and besides I'm now almost out of Avios, have also booked a family LGW-TFS return for the summer). Trip is:

LHR-DUS (overnight in hotel)
DUS-CUR (on Air Berlin, staying in CUR for a week)
CUR-DUS-ZRH (from ZRH to Zermatt by train for four days skiing)
GVA-LHR (train from Zermatt to GVA, it has a late evening flight home)

I'm hoping she'll get all caught up in the confusion of how to pack (ski boots and bikinis are a rare combination I guess) and not realise I'm providing one present for two occasions :-)
