2000 Avios for "Opt-in" to BA Marketing Emails. Targetted?

Nothing in my inbox, seems like they have worked out, despite all the great advice on this forum, that I seem to earn all my Avios by flying.

Received the 2000 avios offer yesterday, but for two other accounts received the same mail without any incentive. Better than nothing I suppose. The two other accounts will remain opt out.

I'll get the OH to opt out - then we'll have them surrounded.

Well, surrounded on 2 sides

That's what we all love about BA/BAEC ... consistency

Oh, well, if it happens it happens. And probably won't.

All I seem to be getting is reminders about the sale. I think they want me to buy more flights

"And that, Baldrick, is called ad-ver-tising."

Yes m'Lord

I have a cunning plan involving WT+ and Avios, but I am not going to tell anyone or everyone will be doing it.

I received the email, but no points offer. I have about ~200k points from partner credit cards, and a household account.

Makes sense to me. It would be amusing if this ploy resulted in an overall reduction in the number of opted-in members.

Perhaps not quite the same as 'marketing'; I had a questionnaire from BAEC recently: citing "about 15-20 minutes to complete". I started it but after about five minutes I was finding it an irritating way to spend 20 minutes; so I quit. Today I got a further email which began: "Recently we sent you an e-mail inviting you to take part in an online survey regarding the British Airways Executive Club. Our records show that you have either not completed the survey, or have not submitted your responses to us."

That sounds rather like a reprimand. How do I opt out of having BAEC or its appointees (Ipsos MORI) from sending me lengthy questionnaires and keeping records on whether I respond? I found a micro-hyperlink at the bottom of my reminder which opts me out of further reminders for this survey but only this specific survey.
