There is now a pay lounge at SVQ, Sala VIP - I believe it opened on 14 April 2016. Cost is EUR 27.30 per person (MasterCard or Visa, no cash, Priority Pass not accepted). There is currently an opening promotion with a 2 for 1 offer. Price includes free WiFi, snacks, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks on request. The aircon works and the lounge is a haven of peace. BA pax - either status or those travelling CE are required to pay; there is as yet no free access. The receptionist hopes that in due course eligible BA pax will have free access to the lounge and its facilities. Doc Copper
Cheers.

I think what has happened there is that BOD had the reputation for being one of the worst lounges in BA's network. It was duly refitted and refurnished about a year ago, thereby transforming itself to one of the best lounges in Provence. The airport then jacked up the fee per visitor, and BA decided not to renew the contract. Elsewhere it has been mentioned that a voucher is offered instead though I haven't seen evidence of this.

Is it the same lounge that has been refitted? IB sent me to a new lounge, turn right after security and take the lift up one floor. Certainly not the same (horrible!) lounge to the left of security in the little room with the keycode. I didn't have a chance to see if that old room, which is still there, is still a lounge or not.

No more champagne in CX CDG Lounge?
Visited the lounge last weekend, evening.
It looks they have replaced champagne with a French sparkling wine.
I didnt ask staff as they either seemed busy or not available.
Maybe some of the more frequent CDG visitors can confirm this?
Anyway it was a nice experience! Loved the tarmac views, decent food and good wines!
Definitely one of the top OW lounges in Europe.

Update on BOD: indeed vouchers are provided instead of lounge access, these are valid for a meal (breakfast/lunch/dinner depending on time of flight) either at the landside or airside caf.

Thanks for the confirmation there. I guess it's worth highlighting for the hand baggage only traveller who otherwise wouldn't need to go to check-in.

Did you try the sparkling wine?
Will be back there next month, so will check and report back here.
Noodles and champagne was my meal of choice.

Just booked CE to Valencia for june this year. Did a search on here but found no mention: Not sure if people are aware or not: no current lounge at Valencia. BA's message :
"Lounge
We're sorry
British Airways does not currently offer a lounge at this airport.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused"

Unless this has changed very recently - and it's possible that it has - then this is an error on BA.com, which isn't unusual. Details of the lounge are in post 29. They are refurbishing the lounge at the moment, but that's due to be completed by the end of March.
