Ah interesting. Had a cherry one somewhere last year and it was awful.
Ditto.....another excellent resource.
It'll certainly help me decide whether to book BA or IB for our MAD-LHR-MAD flights next year. I'm not too fussed about the food but the wife is.

Nice guide ^ However, is this LHR-centric? I ask because on a recent LCY-FRA-LCY flights
we had a choice of hot meals for dinner in CE.

Likewise, I was on a recent GLA-LCY which was scheduled to depart at 1025, but had a full hot breakfast. (We were about 90 minutes late, and so it was served at noon)

Don't see LCA in the list - assuming band 4?

Not sure if it is being rolled out but just off the 14.05 from Berlin and there was no wrap - only a choice of biscuit, crisps or nuts or something served to you from a basket.

We do still have the strawberry jam and Roddas clotted cream though.
The date scones are very popular, people are really liking them and they are nice and large.

I should like to lodge a correction. On LHR-LYS last Thursday the ET catering was beverage plus biscuit/salty snack. Don't know if that means LYS should be band 1 or the catering is indicated wrongly.

Good to hear re-jam and cream. I'm not Cornish so I can live with the raisin scones as before or even the dates scones as a 'modern innovation', but I AM shivering at the notion of 'lemon flavoured' scones - yikes...

The choice mid morning or mid afternoon should be three types of snacks served from a basket for you to choose one you like. They are items like biscuits, salty snacks and nuts. I think if you look at all the timings, this is mentioned in the list.
At the moment these snacks are Lily O'Brien cookies, Real crisps and Forest Feast or similar nuts and dried fruit offering.
These snacks will vary from time to time but they will always consist of three different types and BA are over catering flights by up to 50% to try and ensure everyone gets a choice.
