There's more...
To go with your silly lemon, there's also your happy jumper and your relaxed trainer on your journey to Europe.
The Happy Jumper
Usually, she's too hot, or too cold to go anywhere. And a bit on the bulky side.
But today she's off to Bordeaux! Thanks to that big 23 kilo luggage allowance.
One of the many benefits of flying with us to Europe.
This Happy Jumper's overjoyed, when we say, To Fly, To Serve.

The Relaxed Trainer
He was expecting a dash through check-in and a sprint to the gate.
But no! He had a wander. An amble. And now he's on his way to Amsterdam.
Dozing under a seat reserved at no extra cost the day before.
One of the many benefits of flying with us to Europe.
This relaxed trainer loves it, when we say, To Fly, To Serve.

The Friendly Lemon
This is the Lemon that says kick back, recline your seat. Go on. A bit further.
There he is, happily floating his way to Nice in a complimentary drink.
One of the many benefits of flying with us to Europe.
This Friendly Lemon is delighted, when we say, To Fly, To Serve.

I think that the little touches are important. A few years ago BA was letting the catering and service go to pot to cut costs and relying on the hard product to keep their reputation intact. Now they still have a good hard product but are focussing on the little touches to rebuild their brand.

'Drink your gin and tonic, sit back, relax,,,,,, hopefully it will make you calm down having had to place your cabin baggage 10 rows away from you because we allow too much hand luggage onboard. Ask for a second if you are really fuming......'

I have to say that the best combination is
1. Gordon's Export (that 47.3% stuff you get duty free)
2. Schweppes tonic
3. Lemon
There is quite a good article in the Guardian for all the gin afficionados on this board. I agree with the Blackwood's comment after accidentally getting through a bottle last Saturday evening.
In the good ol' days you could get through three or four on the MAN-LHR shuttle ^
