The Dormens stuff is quite good. Although I prefer the mediteranean crisps they do to the savory nibbles.
Are they still doing the Rocky chocolate covered biscuits?

I don't think I've ever had the bird seed.

The last bag of savoury nibbles I had was a while ago....they were just savoury nibbles. Seem to remember one piece was in the shape of a fish but it wasn't fishy. I might be wrong though.

Havn't seen the rocky biscuits in ages. But I don't do many domestics, so a small sample size.

I usually get a lager and some of the sort of 'air puffed' crisps by Dormans which are jolly nice. They seem to give the initial snack choice based upon drink order, so go for a grolsch and you certainly get the crisps type snack these days.

I havn't seen anyone get the rocky biscuits in ages, but as I said, my sample size for domestics is tiny. I think they may have increased the size of the main snack, and got rid of them.

Weren't the fish shaped ones like mini crackers?

You are lucky to have been spared the bird seed. They really were bird seed, no joke!

The cheapo nuts that have been served for the past year are appalling with horrid sweet clusters, bring back the macadamia nuts.

Sorry that the crew were being tight with their nuts; I believe that a large handful is a good portion size.

They're nice, aren't they? I recall (err... it's been a while, I hope I am not going senile) Dormens things have the small round version of them too.

I feel the this is a subject where a certain amount of medical qualification is required.

Nuts go in the mouth - or has no one told you this. till you may go and find your nuts, warm them, and get me a nice big G&T at the same time - no stinting on the ice mind - and please get you skates on or that'll end up as a thread on FlyerTalk. I asked for my G&T at 11.10 and had to wait until 13.30!!!!!

This was a Mixed Fleet route - actually is it me or do the majority of our more sensational threads always seem to end at their door nowadays?

Is "gotten" a real word? I cringe every time I see it written or hear it spoken.

You just can't please everyone...

First, people complain about the cabin temperature being too hot and now people are complaining that it is too cold for their nuts! Honestly

What next? Cabin crew coming around with the iPad asking "I notice you are a GCH/SCH...Would you mind me noting whether sir/madam has a preference for;

A) Pre warmed or Chilled Nuts?

B) Does sir/Madam enjoy a mouthful of nuts or a just a good handful?

Gin and Slim on the way Pooch, personally I am not a nuts man, but I do prefer my nuts cold rather then hot and sticky.
Hopefully you can wait a little longer for that drink?

I seem to remember that chilled temperatures are the best for nuts to ensure the contents remain fresh until the 'best before due date'

I just hope you are not the excitable type CIHY otherwise things might end up a mess?

Oh for you anything! You know that I have always been a martyr to your charms!!

I do feel however that there are more than one way to read your post. Do nuts get sticky when they get hot - is this a BA speciality. I like mine oven hot with a sprinkling of cocktail salt.
