Flyertalk Luggage Tag
Hey guys
I was in the GLA lounge last night and i saw someone with an FT luggage tag that said "priority". Is it a real tag and if so what it is for?
Cheers (and hello to the owner of the tag if you are reading this!).

It is a tag to let others know you are a FT member...the priority bit is just for fun.
I usually pop over and say hi if I see someone with a FT luggage tag!
(Also helps with distinguishing baggage!)

It wasn't me; no-one has ever said anything about mine and I have never seen any others.

I always carry my two on my hand luggage and my laptop bag. So far I have had the following luck:
Both of them do not want to reveal their usernames on this board but It was always nice to bump into people from FT
/AE
- QF Cabin crew from SYD to LHR lastmonth noticed it and had a 'spoilt' flight
- Very handsome pilot a couple of weeks ago on my GLA to LHR trip noticed it.

I have seen a few of them on flights I have operated, and went and chatted to the passengers. Offered extra drinks and made sure they were happy and comfortable.

I saw someone with a tag in the HI Stevenage - went and said a quick hello as I was in a rush but nice to acknowledge a fellow FT'er.
2nd time was when a LGW based BA CC saw my tag on my bag as I was leaving the plane and commented on it. Was @ EDI departing to LGW first flight of the day.
Think I may wear it round my neck in future if it means extra food and drink.

Personally, I think the FT tags are too tacky to use, but they are giving them out for free so they need to advertise, should be a different kind of tag as well - subtle, an 'if you know it, then you know' type approach.
