I have booked lhr-SFO in Club World in D cladd on BA using my OnBusiness points. Will I earn OnBusiness points in D class through this redemption?

How about earning AA miles ?

No.

Per BAEC terms and conditions, flights paid for in whole or in part (paid for, not upgraded) with any kind of reward currency are not eligible to earn reward currency or status contribution.

See clause 11.3.

The same applies for other oneworld programmes.

When you look at manage my booking it will probably say that you will earn executive club points though. Do not get your hopes up - I am afraid the points will never come.

ColdWalker is spot on. Several years ago they used to, but haven't seen TPs or Miles from an OB booking for nearly 5 years now, much is the pitty.

Besides, you can't really expect to be given 'freebies' for cashing previously earned benefits in for a 'freebie', if you get my drift.

You may get something in AA because you are in a revenue bucket, albeit one where BA has made a mental note not to let you get miles or tp's. Don't bet on it. You have zero chance with BA, though.
