BA EC Moved from UK to US - Advice Needed

I moved my BA EC account a couple of months ago from the UK to the US to allow for some US Chase Avios to be added to my account.

I have been advised I cant change address again for 6 months, is there any exception to this or any way to overcome this?

I also wanted to use my my Amex 2-4-1 from the Uk to make a reward booking, I of course called the UK line and was told I would need to call the US number.

I have asked for a reward seat availability check but they said they cant do this as availability and fares are differrent for the US and UK.

Based on this information in general is there any more or less availability for reward seats between UK and US?

Are the taxes any differrent? Or as I reckon exactly the same but converted to $?

Finally any restrictions on using the 2-4-1 via the US Call centre?

The 6 month restriction is put into place exactly for reasons like this, so sadly I suspect very much that you will not be able to 'move' back to the UK until the 6 month restriction expires.

Worse news still may well be that you will be unable to use the 2-4-1 (if it is the UK Amex one) as Im pretty sure there is a restriction in place that excludes non UK pax from using it.

Lloyds TSB Credit Card Companion Ticket

Just one more thing,

Once you spend 15k on the Lloyds TSB Premier Duo CC, you get a companion cert to use for booking a seat in economy using Avios.

IS it possible to upgrade these seats using Avios to WT+?
