May be we are US members?

Not at: Diamond Club account information

And not at: Update My Details

Only this:
Change your password
Change your email address
Update your address
Update your contact details
Update your communication preferences
Add travel agent details
Have you entered the details on the BA side under APIS info within Manage My Account?
Advance Passenger Information
If you enter Advance Passenger Information in your profile, it will be included in all future bookings you make with us, including those made through a travel agent. For each booking you make with us, the Advance Passenger Information in your profile will be sent to the Customs and Immigration Authorities of any country in your itinerary that requires it.
> Update my profile
If that doesn't work then I think you may need to call bmi to correct the info on that account.

I transfered my miles from BMI to BAEC Avios ... it worked!
The transfer for Mrs. USAFAN does NOT work! I guess that I have to call BA or BMI.
Anyway, thanks .....

You've been asked to enter it at sign up, but as it is bmi's IT you cannot see it. You can enter the date of birth in your BA account - Advance Passenger Information. If it doesn't work after that, you'll need to call bmi to have it corrected.

Or add Mrs USAFAN to a bmi HHA, transfer her miles across on the bmi side, then use the already working bmi - > BA transfer method on your account to move them across?

Possibly no date of birth on your account - if so complete your APIS details then it should work.
Or
You havent validated your email address , or your email address is out of date and there is a message on your account when you login stating BA have been unable to send you emails.

Smile Easy success

I just completed my registration to BMI DC and transfer to BAEC. It was a bit hard to find the registration page for DC, but after that, is was very simple to complete the transfer.

No question about birth date. No problem finding Combine My Avios.

My guess is that it will be 1:1 until BA decides to wind up the DC scheme (or let it survive just for Regional), at which point a cutoff date will be announced and the rate will then become 1:0.

combine my avios - doesnt seem to work

I press on the red Combine my avios button and all that happens is a window opens within the page with the same page duplicated in it. Anyone else have this problem?

Using Firefox browser.

Yeh. I've had that issue. Normally only happens if I copy/paste in the URL.... try then navigating again to the link (in the sub frame) and see if it works. That's what I had to do....

How do you navigate to the transfer tool from within the duplicate BAEC page? The first time I tried to transfer, it said one was already in progress, then on future occasions just opened up a page within a page as described above, whichever browser I use.

I've just used the tool to transfer some miles earned on QR and I'm impressed at the speed and slickness of the whole process.

Firstly the miles landed in my Diamond Club account within 24 hours of landing in Manchester which is wonderfully fast, and a few clicks and they were lodged in my BA Exec account. All in all very neat.

My error was to use the link in the email sent by BMI, and then try it from within the BMI site, and finally (apparently) to use Opera.

The link is in Manage My Account in the BAEC site and it works fine in Internet Explorer.

Repeated copies of the same error:

Your session has timed out, please log in again
*sigh*

I get BMI in the drop down, and the space to enter my BMI DC # and pw...

Then the above listed error when I hit SUBMIT.

*edit* The problem was using Safari on OSX. Firefox resolved the problem; now 14K richer on BA.com
