Question t5 question

Hi,
Is there a CW check in area in T5?
I read that there is but I have not been able to find it yet...

I might be blind but I can not find it!!!!
Thanks

Way down the right hand end [Zone H?].

Not really significant … if there are short queues on the way there you might just as well use those. Realistically they're all the same [except FIRST, of course].

Yes, Zone H is for CW/CE/Business UK and Silver/Sapphire.

Almost as far as you can go towards the South end, next to Zone J (First and Gold/Emerald check-in).

Damn, damn, damn … Zone J

Anyway, its "all the way down there at the far end", which is a neat bit of design.
Why wasn't it put in the middle? So F/J pax don't have to walk so far? And can pick either N or S Security?

It's Zone H. Zone J is First.

It's at the far end for privacy.

H

I thought I knew where I was going. Which made a change

Meanwhile @ Genius1 ... Ahhhh, the privacy factor. Of course, how could I forget that? Never let ordinary people see those in Zone H or, even worse, Zone J. Half-walls are not enough, presumably, to shield F from the others. At this rate there will be a separate Terminal for F pax, in case they are seen, or can see, other people

I'm joking, OK?

Quite agree. I don't want privacy. And the First check in is the worst of the lot. It needs its own dedicated security.

Maybe adrianjc32 can answer this one.

Are there any plans for Club Check-in to be screened off in a similar way to First? I think it looks too similar to the normal Bag drops at the moment.

If F had its own security like Singapore, landing in the concourse by the spa (to cater for non-F flyers, a lot more would use it. I imagine a lot of Silvers would work harder to become golds to avoid the trot round the shops
