Was wondering... Does a jug of Pimm's with the fruit count as one of my 5 a day?

Clearly yes, although the fruit will not please your dentist. Compensate by using diet lemonade, and of course, never Sprite.

If in doubt, a couple of screwdrivers will bring you up to the required level (avoid Bloody Marys as the salt content of tomato juice can be dangerously high).

Sangria is good as well - wine is just grape juice, brandy is extra strong grape juice (so better for you) and there's fruit as well!

I recall a bar in Singapore in the days of Empire where they had the full set … did it go to #8 or #9? I got confused after #5 :D |
I'm sure Eastern Airways used to have Winter Pimms on the trolley.
And of course, let's not forget the inimitable "Turbo Pimms". No worries about the choice of lemonade there... |

1 gin based 2 scotch whisky based 3 brandy based 4 rum based 5 rye whiskey based 6 vodka based... Only 1 and 6 are currently produced...6 in very small quantities...:D |
If it counts as a fruit I was dangerously malnourished while staying at the four seasons Mumbai last week. They had no Pimms at their rooftop bar! I was simply shocked given India's commonwealth status!
