More than I can afford to properly enjoy right now, that's how many.

I wonder if BA will ever let people pay for taxes and surcharges with additional Avios? It might not help to raise money, but it would help to bring peoples balances back down to earth with a bump, perhaps.

Oddly enough, I'm in the same position.

Oh go on then...

1,250,000 Avios...and heading upwards. I can't seem to use them right now (although I did spend some last year) given the fact I seem to be travelling all the time for work.

The routes I do fly on (Mainly west coast US) have no/little availability in J or F at the moment (which is good for BA I suppose) so the other half can't join me in the same cabin and they refuse to go at the back!

I might even do a straight redemption in the next couple of years rather than just doing UUA.

I know it's not very British to talk about money, but these are only miles, errr I mean Avios.

I still call them miles....don't like the Avios word.

I don't have that many but will boost the HHA by quite a margin when the DC miles transfer over. Had hoped to use some of them before the transfer but too many other things happening this year.
Some great value redemptions down this way so look forward to using them on that. Some LAN flights and hopefully on TAM when they join Oneworld. Also to N America which is still a bargain in economy given the low charges.

No, just wondering why we have so many of these types of thread at the moment. Is it the warmer weather?

247,156 just to show I'm not a total spoil-sport. Next week will just creep over the 250k.

You are allowing your DC Miles to be devalued to Avios! What sort of FTer are you?

I've just burned 300k DC miles so they did not become Avios furlongs.

Enough for at least 3 x TATL UuAs to CW next year, by when this year's earn and burn and miscellaneous Amex spending will increase that by at least one more. Anyway, we're already booked through the rest of this year, so it's just earning for the next 7 months.

In fact, overall we earn more than we spend ... note to self, take more long-haul holidays

Is it time to actually spend a lot of , book CW and UuA to First? But why? There's not a lot wrong with CW, and we'd rather spend the money on a longer trip (accommodation, F&B) and car rental (I like big US SUVs ).

Thinking along the same lines. I will be getting near 2m when my DC miles transfer in :-(

That's not feeling too clever, young kids have hampered my spending over the last couple of years.
