Any BA/FTr's fancy an Edinburgh Do? (Saturday 12th May)

Edinburgh Do anyone ? (Saturday 12th May)

Any FTr's fancy meeting for a meal or/and drinks in Edinburgh before the Summer holidays on the above date ?

I really was hoping to make it a few weekends later but I do not think that is a good idea as there is a planned demonstration in Edinburgh on the 26th of May.

Plan A

So the (provisional) plan:

Saturday morning: Meet at Harvey Nichols, St Andrew Square, Edinburgh (as per the map) at 12.00 pm sharp for the Flight Musuem and then head back to Edinburgh for late afternoon. Prospero and I will arrange transport etc.

Update for the Meal: 7 pm at the Forth Floor (Brasserie), St Andrew Square and all the details including a map are here

I have provisionally booked the meal for 12 and 10 confirmed.

Here is a map/directions to the Musuem where the Concorde is based, as well as other aircraft.

id love to attend a Doooo this year, especially in Edinburgh, which is one of my favourite places

Sadly, money wise, leave wise and ease wise its not going to be possible.

Saving money and leave for wedding and honeymoon in October and everywhere is a PITA to get too from NQY at the moment

There is usually at least one Edinburgh Doo a year so there will be many more in the future and hopefully see you at one of them. ^

What do you mean PUTI again? I'm not a drinker you know.

With Edinburgh folk being a bit stuck up I thought you were suggesting that henkybaby needed to get a haircut before attending the dinner. I didn't have my reading glasses on so misread the word.

As a follicaly challenged person I could never suggest anyone needs a haircut.

IIRC correctly Henk was looking for a jacket in a thread somewhere and I wont bite re your Edinburgh comment.

Lots of doos on the Scott monument.

All the best for organising this Do. I'm sure there will be a great turnout especially amongst the Edinburgers. ^
