I don't mind them at all - very fresh and tasty. They do get tiresome once you've had them multiple times though, as anything would.

I can't decide whether the fact that easyjet offers return tickets for as little as Ł130 on LON-DME makes BA's Y offering on that route more or less acceptable. If I was going in Y and didn't need the Avios or have SCH status or above for lounge benefits, I'd probably just go U2 and spend part of the ~Ł70+ price difference on a Pret sandwich at Gatwick!!

As airline steaks go, I've had worse, the sauce was pretty decent.

You should be impressed. Don't forget that CW passengers would have received the same steak and paid considerably more for it....

On my recent flight in F on an A380 from LAX I begged them to cook the steak medium....

It was edible but not enjoyable.

Why, oh why did you order the steak ? Surely there was something else on the menu, that couldn't be ruined during cooking, that you could have had instead ?

BA will keep serving, and ruining, steak until people stop ordering it...

I remember posting some months ago stating that I would be upset to receive a Shepherds Pie as a main on BA. The post was met with some criticism at the time however looking back over some of the offerings I can now understand why it would be a far better offering than some of the dogs dollop served by BA in the "norm".

Thanks for the photos. Do you have any information or comments to share on the wines you had?
