How does BA think it is okay to serve something that has 46% of your daily saturated fats? In one croissant!

Because it fits in with the average British diet?

It's not the saturated fats I'd be worried about, it's the fact that they're probably 99% trans fats and the smorgasbord of E-numbers.

I hate mayo and never eat sandwiches etc with it.

I'll usually just pick at the bread or any filling that may have been spared.

Had a gluten free salad in Club Europe the other day. Chicken was moist and the lemon worked as dressing substitute. But the roll was horrendous, I only buy gluten free bread due to my wheat allergy and no brand is a bad as that roll. Felt like eating dust:

The desert pot contained unsweetened yoghurt and tinned fruit. Very bland. Would I order again? Instead of the dreaded afternoon tea, yes, but otherwise, I'll stick to a regular meal and will avoid that bread basket

Served on Friday on a Band 3, LHR-HEL, Club Europe - pesto stuffed chicken on mash and seasonal veg. It was lovely.

However, not a fan of cheese (though it went down the hatch anyway!) and sadly the chocolates seem to have disappeared...?

BA in F and J always seem to do best keeping it to good cooked beef and the classic English breakfast..at least that's my taste with their food.

This was BA's brunch offering during a fairly recent CE flight from MUC-LHR.

really really poor form to offer that kind of product to a captive audience albeit on a short flight.

LGW-MLE on BA2043 (15 June 2014)

Starter: Buffalo mozzarella with tomato petals and wild rocket pesto salad.

My main: Pan-seared fillet of British beef with spring herbed green peppercorn crust and English cider jus (bit of a wine tasting going on...)

My wife's main: Four cheese ravioli with tomato, olive and caper sauce

Dessert: Thomas Hoe Red Leicester and Channel Island Brie served with fig relish (sorry forgot to take a picture first - I blame it on the wine...)

Nightcap. Swiftly followed by a 7 hour sleep.
