Using Avios points to fly BA?
 

When using the Airmiles to fly BA flights I accrued BA Executive Club miles and tier points on my Blue membership. Now if I fly BA using my Avios I don't. Now, I built up my BA miles through different ways and was intending on flying BA again with my miles and to accrue my tier points and miles but now we don't. If anyone knows any different please post.

This is correct. Redemption flights do not accrue Avios/Tier Points unless it's an MFU in which case you get Avios/TPs for the base fare.

I had to read this a few time, but i think your question is:

"Is it right that since Airmiles changed to Avios, we no longer earn TPs and Avios on reward flights?"

And the answer is: Yes, you won't earn TP and Avios any more, though I believe it wasn't 100% consistent previously.

Correct, however, every Airmiles redemption I ever made did earn TPs miles. This was because the flights booked into the G (Groups) fare bucket - I only ever redeemed Airmiles on GLA-LON-GLA.

With that said, does anyone know which fare bucket the ex-Airmiles Avios bookings now fall into? Is it X, P, U and Z, as per BAEC/Avios redemptions?

Yes, but the scheme has changed (you don't have Airmiles any more, you have Avios) and this is one of the changes. @:-) Y
