Does BA still offer [amenity kits]???

The amenity kit? My daughter said that Open skies doesn't give them out.

I was n EK and they didn't offer them either, but then I thought that they have everything in their showers... and I have to admit, it is incredible to take a shower up in the skies....

BA still offers amenity kits in F and CW

Not sure about other cabins

And Openskies? she said that they don't anymore. She asked if the airlines stopped offering them, because they didn't get them on Openskies (when they always did) and on J EK. And then I noticed that I didn't get them on F EK either.

EK give out amenity kits if the flight is over a certain length, ?? 5 hours. You do not get one Akl-syd for example even in F

Also in WT+; I think they're available on request in WT.

As of a couple of years ago, Emirates only hands out pj's and amenity kits on night flights and other flights of at least 9 hours (or thereabouts).

Think you still get the headphones/toothpaste/toothbrush plastic bag thing in WT, with socks and eyeshades on request.

(and to be on the safe side, I found this post from CIHY

As discussed in length in the thread kindly kinked above; BA doesn't give out an amenity kit in WT but instead there is a toothbrush in the headset packet with a note stating that 'Socks and eyeshades are available upon request'.

The idea was to reduce waste whilst still offering basic services only to those who want/need them. Jolly good idea if you ask me

Openskies is a different product to BA. Mainline Club and F still offer an amenity kit.

I have just been have my periodic clear-out of amenities kit today; actually opening the kits (which I never do) sorting out the items, keeping some (toothbrushes, eye-plugs), recycling some (socks and eyeshades) and tossing out stuff I don't want (moisturiser)

It is strange one after all this time; I still feel I should get one but I do not really need the items (while on the flight at least)

I like to get one even though most of the bags we get end up never being used post flight.
The BA F one I'm afraid to say is the most useless bag of them all.

Yes, but it makes a great last-minute holiday after you inevitably forget, especially to those who have never travelled anything other than Y and are amazed by all things 'premium'.

Shame it all soon wears off.

Totally agree. I have binned all the BA F bag. I do keep a stock of the CW blue (and the odd plaid one) pouches (for some electronic items). Not entirely convinced about the current brown ones.

Question for Hiddy - how are the LH First Class Bath ducks doing. Are the dogs still eyeing them up?
