Touch and go. Best to stock up on potatoes or avocados in store if you need to hit a certain target!

Hi,
I tried searching this thread but couldn't find the answer to this?
If I buy something that carries extra points then use a double points voucher, do I get double points on the whole total or just on the cc points for the actual spend?
The other week I spent £80 but bought items that included 200 extra points so got 280 points and the double voucher registered at the time and 80 extra points posted a few days later. Tesco customer service said this was because you only get double points on actual spend. Is this true?

Edit: realised the reason why I haven't got the 2k bonus is that I didn't transfer enough to Avios.com - 1200 in stead of 1500

Clubcard points from Tesco travel money
Tescos are quite competitive for Travel money, especially since you can order online and if you use your Tesco Creditcard you do not pay a cash advance fee.
But do you earn any points? There's two ways you might:
1) By getting points directly from Tescos bank. I've been told this has been cancelled.
2) From the Tesco Creditcard purchase e.g. at the rate of 1 point per £4. I have NOT received any points for this it after months, but I can't get anyone on the phone or email that seems to know. Also nothing online.
Dear all knowing Flyertalk, has anyone here got either to work in the last year?

Did you get the vouchers?
Just had an email from Avios.com with title as above telling me my Tesco vouchers are on the way and reminding me that £2.50 = 600 Avios (duh!)
Checked my Tesco account online and no they haven't posted yet.
Got me all excited for nowt!

Is everyone holding out for bonuses or redeeming at standard rate?

800 per £2.50 isnt bad, but 1200 is better
What's Tesco history with changing the exchange rates, do they give notice?
By the way, I can see next quarter is going to be a short one...
The final date to collect points for your August Clubcard statement is 21/07/12
