C**p! Just booked my first First!

Still kinda excited, I must admit. I was just playing around with some ideas for an upcoming vacation, found some availability, and before I knew it, I was booked in seat 1K on a 747 to BOS

The bad part: It's a one-way redemption, so now I got to find a cheap one way economy class ticket going back . AB and FI seems to be the ones selling cheap one way tickets. At least AB will be in OW by then.

I had my first F flight in 10 years a couple of days ago. It's truly an amazing experience ^ Don't be too drunk when you board, the champagne in F beats the plonk served in Galleries First and possibly even CCR.

Why dont you book the cheapest return possible, and just use the first leg?
It might be cheaper that way

On most airlines that is true. But I think AB and FI have good one-way fares, about half of a round trip (imagine that).

Just completed my first NF experience from LHR to LAX and back. Loved the new product and great crew so hope you have a similar experience.

To be honest, I feel kinda "wrong" about doing that.

That's true. Quite good one way fares from New York to OSL.

That would require a seperate one-way booking from DUB to OSL, and would not be quite as cheap.

I am sorry to say I do not have anything useful for you to get a one-way flight back. However, I just wanted to say that whatever you might hear on this forum about the First, it is (generally at least) very nice. Have a great flight!

If you feel bad about buying a return and ditching one way, use the return portion for another visit to BOS, and keep repeating the process. That way, you will have more opportunities for F with the miles you collect.

The return flight problem is solved. FYI, SQ sell quite cheap one way fares on their A380 from JFK to FRA

I flew F to BOS in October. Great flight, good crew and some decent F food too. I only get to fly F maybe once a year so it was a real treat. I hope you have an enjoyable flight

Another first for me, during the same trip: I ended up booking a reward using Avios to get home from FRA to OSL, first with a stopover at LHR. I changed that, and am now flying FRA-LHR-OSL on the day after I arrive at FRA, end will get my first flight on a 767
