The Goodbye Winter Sale starts at 0800 GMT hours 22 December 2011 on ba.com and includes selected destinations in First, Club World, World Traveller Plus, World Traveller and Euro Traveller from London Heathrow, London Gatwick and London City. Limited seats available.

My finger is on the trigger for tomorrow morning (I guess they may start loading fares ahead of 8am, as per experience of previous sales) - I have been checking every hour today so far

WT+ to CW MFU of course, next August/September time - totally flexible with dates so no issues when it comes to finding availability

The Dec/Jan sale usually covers Jan-May only.

2 problems there - the winter sale does not usually go past April/May and I doubt there will be too many decent prices in August given the Olympics.

£660ish in WT+ for JFK I think (+ £80-100 if you MFU)
Roughly a third off the normal £900+ price.

Could have sworn it only went up to the end of May as I wanted something after than and had to wait a few months. Unless it was for specific destinations?

BA CW, First and CE Sale - 22nd December 2010 to 25th January 2011

CW, First and CE sale to many BA destinations for travel from about 30th December to 30th September 2011. Dates varied quite considerably depending on destination. Advanced Purchase of 7-28 days which varied by destination

Example Fares (CW/First):

NYC - £1,689/£2,687
LAX - £2,239/£3,237
SFO - £2,469/£3,467
MBJ - £1,072

BA Economy and WT+ Sale - 22nd December 2010 to 25th January 2011

Economy and WT+ sale to many BA destinations for travel from about 30th December to 30th September 2011. Dates vary quite considerably depending on destination. Advanced Purchase of 7 days (WT) and 21 days (WT+).

Example Fares (WT/WT+):

NYC - £315/£593
BOS - £342/£620
SFO - £402/£840
