The wife think's I'm nuts about this. QF flight SYD to LAX and the AA flight LAX to IAD, both Seq 1. Proudly posted. OK, the LAX to IAD that far in advance for check-in was easy. But Seq 1 on an A380? Priceless.

Checked in on Monday evening for a LHR-MAD the next day and was allowed to check in for the return on Wednesday evening; BA461 - a B777-300. I experienced a childlike joy at getting Seq 001(something Mrs. N. failed to understand) however, no joy to be found in seat 29A in Y which was very uncomfortable. I moved to the near empty aft economy cabin and got a bulkhead aisle seat, which was marginally better, but those Y seats are really narrow and hard and I’m of an average height and build.

...and at the other end of the spectrum, browsing through some old BPs I noticed I had a seq# 419 - it was a rebooking from BWI-JFK-LHR over to IAD-LHR originally on the later flight but BA put me on the earlier one since it hadn't left yet... .

Seq 001 on BA2 Monday evening...I would never have noticed nor cared were it not for this forum, but numerous SEQ002s were grinding my gears by this point!
