OT - Watching football in T5

Hi All

travelling to ATL on saturday at 3pm on BA227.

Liverpool are playing Man U on sky sports 2 at 12.45 and I would like to know if it is shown in the pubs in T5?

if so should just about be able to squeeze in the whole match before boarding

Thanks for your help

The Crown Rivers (Wetherspoons) usually has the games on. Far left of 5A.

Any update on watching football at T5?

Is there anywhere (lounge or otherwise) that I could watch the Arsenal Champions League match tonight (Wed 27 Aug) in the Terminal? It is on Sky Sports 5 apparently.

I thought all the lounges had Sky? I've definitely watched cricket and F1 in Flounge and GC south. Don't be shy about changing the channel if needed (and noone else is wathing anything! ).

The major sporting event of the day is generally shown on the TV on the wall just inside the dining area of the Flounge.

I noticed they were showing Liverpool-Southampton in the GC North, near the terrace entrance, last week. They used to show the Olympics back in 2012.

I wouldn't expend too much effort - they'll probably get eliminated!

You cannot have decent sound in the lounges though, perhaps best compromise is sitting in front of the screen and listen to a radio feed via headphones.

I know they will take requests on the TV nearest the bar in the CCR. I dont know about changing the channels in other lounges though.
