Transferring at Mumbai Airport

Hi...

I will be transferring from the domestic terminal to the 0230 BA flight to London at Mumbai airport. I have previously completed this journey and used the international transfer bus but due to delays I ended up running to the check in counter when the bus finally arrived. I know this isn’t a direct BA question but just wondered if anyone has previously completed this journey and if so could you recommended the best way to transfer between terminals, i.e. bus, taxi or even tuk-tuk?

I've done it twice - once via the bus (which worked well, but we had plenty of time) and once via private transfer (this past March), which worked out better - more comfortable and nice and clean / tidy / bottled water, help with luggage etc. I used the same people who had organised all of my transfers for this last transfer, given the late hour. Traffic was quite snarled, but we made it. If you're travelling in a premium cabin on BA, look out for the uniformed airport staff outside the terminal with radios and lists. They'll get you through the door to the airport quickly and right into the hands of special services at the premium check-in desks.

I wrote this http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/india...tional-vv.html some time ago. Not much has changed as I understand it.

This is the first time I saw this.

I wonder if the crew, who seem very happy in your pics, are as happy today. With the English cricket team destroying them :D

Vile airport. Just did this a couple of weeks ago from a domestic Kingfisher flight (BA codeshare) from Hyderabad to the lunchtime BA198. Had about three and a half hours for the transfer which took about ninety minutes from landing at domestic to sitting in the BA lounge in the international terminal. I used the transfer bus in the end rather than booking a car for the connection. The bags were tagged all the way through and I didn't see them until London.
