BA Gatwick - Out of this world

After Blue were roped in on the BA float at London Pride, the BA Gatwick crew had Pam Ann on their at Brighton Pride today. Very nice BQ Gatwick lanyard being handed out with a classy metal whistle (as oppose to a cheap plastic one).

Unlike the do London, this promo was BA and Gatwick with no mention of AA or IB; makes sense for Brighton.

Poor Cabin crew started off with full jackets on but less than half way through the parade, all the jackets came off. Pam Ann kept repeating "Whistle if you want an upgrade" as Fizz Whizz, Sherbets and other sweeties were handed out.

Pam Ann does have a show on Sunday night in Brighton

There is a 10% off for booking made between 13 Aug and 24 Aug for travel between 13 Aug and 12 Dec. Go to ba.com/prideoffer

Will try and post some photos after nursing my sun-burn !

I saw "out of this world" "ba" "gatwick" and all I thought of was sunrisegirl.

But it would appear something very different.

Glad you had a nice time.

It is actually a great tag line or slogan for BA. Something the BA marketing team should consider.

It is actually the theme for this year's Brighton Pride where sci-fi was the theme for the floats and the costumes for those who want to dress up.

The BA folks at LGW are superb ... and no hot-tubs were involved in me making that statement

Sorry - not with snapping away with an iPhone. I'm sure more professional photos will be on line soon.

Now you know what to do when you meet SRG at check-in

At the start of the parade, when the jackets were still on

The guest of honour (sorry, wrong angle and no zoom)

BA crew got a bit hot in the bright sunshine (I need to buy some aftersun first thing tomorrow)

Oooh that lanyard with whistle would be really good for us on check in when we need to call the next passenger forward. I want one!!

And I recognise a couple of faces on the float. Hmm

So do I....very nice.

I could think of a few uses for the whistle....to call the dogs, to stop the traffic when I want to cross the road and to have in bed when I'm having a lie in. Great for calling the attention of the wife....one blow for tea, two blows for a coffee.

KenJohn, that's not a MixedFleet hat, it's a LCY-JFK hat

Looks like everyone had fun. I recognise most of the crew on there. Shame I couldn't be there.

I thought the exact same thing, and SRG I wasn't fishing for an upgrade as sadly I rarely use LGW.
