Saudi: Drinks on arrival/departure
I was wondering what the policy is on serving/consuming alcoholic drinks on BA Saudi flights. Do CC continue serving alcohol in line with other routes or do they have to stop when in Saudi airspace?
I imagine the majority of passengers on an ex-Saudi flight will be gagging for a stiff drink or six . And I reckon it's not the best idea to turn up at Saudi immigration half cut either.

The things you learn!
Googling this one discovers not only that the word "alcohol" is ultimately derived from Arabic, but also that the no-alcohol rule doesn't apply to some ultra long-haul destinations, thank god:
although they neglect to provide bar recommendations or a tariff of prices. I shall have to stick to my usual haunt.

Not that I am going anywhere remotely close to Saudi, but just out of curiosity, even if the BA does not serve drinks in Saudi airspace, what if a pax uses his/her own supplies? It would be a shame if that were not allowed, as long as the pax is on board a BA aircraft.
