New F Lounge Menu EXCELLENT NEWS

Lots of nice new goodies on a new menu: summer/asparagus salads, British bloomers, organic penne pasta, the BA burger, classic sausage and mash, Eton mess, chocolate fondant, summer pudding, Neal's Yard cheese plate.

I have had the cheese and it is identical to what is served in the CCR. Excellent news and a very welcome development. Bravo BA!

(And for breakfast you can get boiled eggs with toasted marmite soldiers! I almost wet myself with excitement!!!)

It sounds lovely, much fresher sounding at least than the previous offering.

Fantastic. I might not have to go into Galleries for food now.

Technically you will still be in Galleries. The lounges are Galleries First and Galleries Club

This is great news, though. Does anybody have a full menu?

The Dutch influence already establishing itself I see. Now he should hurry up and improve onboard dining.

I realized. I can't edit from my iPhone - safari crashes when I hit "edit".

But for me Galleries = J and Flounge/First = F

New menu in the CCR this morning. Looked fab...sadly I was literally walking out the door to a 12.15 departure to GLA showing Gate closing and couldn't take a snap.

Great news. Looking forward to the Eton mess. What time do they switch from breakfast to the rest of the day menu?

Oops, I meant to mention it two days ago! I have taken a picture if the menu but have no idea how to get it on here.... The main them is fresh and local. Salads come from farms just a few miles down the M3 etc. Lots of things on there that you will like.

I took a piccy of both menus - will post when I have a moment (which may be tomorrow as it's a beautiful evening on the Cote d'Azur...)

Brekko menu stops at noon.

Great news! The food in the GF was ok, if deteriorating in recent years IMHO, so the new menu sounds like a large improvement.

The decision not to upgrade to CE for a shortish SH soon does not seem like a bad idea if I can enjoy a meal in the lounge.

Is someone experimented the new menu? Any details?
