BA AMEX Promo - 2.99% Promotional Rate

Just got this in the post and activated it. Valid for a whole year. Did everyone/anyone else get this?

Yes. Not interested in credit though so I didn't bother activating it.

I got a similar offer today, but at 5.99%. Not activating as I always pay off each month anyway.

Mine was for 5.99 per cent and came yesterday (they sent it to their most important customer first ). I activated it, but have no intention of using it as I always pay off each month too. However, thought it was wise to do it just in case I forget to pay one month - it's happened before!

2.99% for me too.
I'm guessing it's because I (we) pay off in full each month.
Handy to have in the event of surprises.

...And I got an offer of double miles on restaurants booked through AMEX's top treats website. For some reason, I never get targeted bonuses...

I haven't received any offer and I pay my balance monthly.
However, I'd register for it 'just in case' - is there a web site address that you use to register? Care to divulge it?

I got it, 2.99%. I too pay off every month, but I'd rather activate it than not. My confidence in predicting what the next 12 months may bring (ie my requirement for BA-earning credit) is not as high as others, it seems

Nothing for me as yet (bar something about Top table, think its for the preferred rewards card though), I pay mine off auto DD every month too and have done for 4-5 years or so.

NB it's pretty short-lived, mine said it had to be activated by May 22nd.
